Why I Do #FollowFriday
For those of you new to Twitter and haven't learned all social graces, you've probably wondered, "What the heck is Follow Firday? What are all these tweets with the 'hashmark' & FollowFriday, or FF?"
Its really pretty simple, on Friday, you tweet your favorite(?) tweeps as #FollowFriday to others in your stream and perhaps, they'll follow them too. Don't feel bad, I noticed this phenomenon for several months before I got the courage up to ask what is was all about.
I have no idea who originated this sacred practice but it caught on like wildfire. I suppose some find it annoying but others love it, judged on how many #ff tweets they post.
But here's the reason I do it. I've met many wonderful people via Twitter. Some are downright funny, while others have forgotten more about marketing that I'll ever know. I've met some really sharp business gals who're making money from at their kitchen table, sitting in a their bathrobe. Most of all, I've met some of the most kindest and helpful people on Twitter.
And I'd like you to get to know them, too. That's the ONLY reason I do #FollowFriday.
